Facts About the Air We Breathe
Fact - Most people spend 60% to 90% of their time indoors. (American Lung Association)
Fact - More than 50 million Americans suffer from allergies. The level of some hazardous pollutants in indoor air has been found to be up to 70 times greater than in outdoor air. (USEPA)
Air Duct Cleaning
HVAC systems are used both to heat and cool your home by circulating the indoor air in your house. House dust is the worst culprit for causing indoor allergy and asthma symptoms. Dust gets trapped and collected inside ventilation systems which decreases the efficiency of your system and results in higher energy bills, while also making the indoor air quality in your home worse. High humidity increases the build up of dust and contaminates in your system, while low humidity increases the circulation of contaminates in your home. We can provide you with a free indoor air quality testing to make certain you and your family breathe healthy air inside your home.
Our Air Duct Cleaning Process
Lower Your Energy Bills
Research by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has shown that cleaning your HVAC system may allow systems to run more efficiently by removing dust and buildup from your system to allow for less restrictive air flow. Cleaning your system increases energy efficiency and decreases the likely hood of your system breaking down therefor increasing its overall lifespan.

Breathe Easier and Live Healthier with Air Duct Cleaning
Air ducts have been known to collect a variety of contaminants that have the potential to affect health, such as mold, fungi, bacteria, dead skin cells, cooking oils, and very small particles of dust. The removal of such contaminants from your air ducts can provide many various health benefits along with helping to fight allergies, asthma, bronchitis, sinus problems, eye irritation, migraines, nasal congestion, musty odors, headaches and even excess dust on furniture.
How Often Should You Have Your Air Ducts Cleaned?
The frequency of cleaning depends on several factors. Some things that can lead a home owner to consider more frequent cleanings include the following:
We Look Forward to Servicing All of Your Needs and Helping You and Your Family to Begin Living Healthier Lives!!!
Dr. Air Care follows the NADCA protocols for air duct cleaning. The air duct cleaning removal process utilizes a negative air machine pulling 2,700 cubic feet of air per minute through the system. During the time when the negative air machine is connected the technician works the cleaning tooling in the individual vents to dislodge and remove debris that is than pulled to the negative air machine. The technician may use mechanical powered brushes, air whips, and air whisks to reach deep into the ducts.
Why Use Air Duct Sanitizers?
Sanitizers are anti-microbial chemicals applied to the interior surface of the air ducts, designed to control microbial contamination. Before any sanitizers are used, the system should be thoroughly cleaned. It is critical that any anti-microbial treatment used in your system be EPA registered for the intended use in HVAC systems.
All grills, registers, diffusers, trunk lines and plenums are cleaned. The furnace blower motor and air conditioning coil are cleaned if they are accessible. Many of our competitors do not clean the blower or air conditioning coil.
